Years ago, thanks to my sabbatical and by virtue of being in the US, I got a used copy of a book which recorded all the Olympics marathons till the Sydney Olympics or so. It is full of strange, sad, inspiring stories…So I was surprised I didn’t remember much about Carvajal, the almost-too-fictional-to-believe kind of runner. Read this story here.
