This is a mini-milestone as we have hit nearly 5 months of this newsletter. Thank you for reading it.

Will keep this edition brief too as I have been very starved on the personal time front for the last week.

Zatopek, who was/is the source of inspiration for about 5 decades now was the subject of 2 books in 2016. Here’s a writeup on Zatopek in the London Review of Books, which doesn’t do traditional book reviews but uses the books as context to expound at length (almost an emphasis on length!) on one topic.
